Aishwarya Rai lights up the night at 50th Pond’s Miss India Pageant

Aishwarya Rai, who has been out of the on-screen and on-stage action since past 2 years because of her motherhood is now back on to the stage with an electrifying performance on the eve of 50th edition of Pond’s Femina Miss India pageant.
The evening which was filled with aura of beautiful contestants was multiplied with the presence of former Pageant winners and Bollywood ace actresses Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra.
Aishwarya Rai performed to her classy song ‘Udi’ from the movie Guzaarish and surprised everyone with her grace which was no less than how she was 10 years back and the dance was choreographed by Shiamak Davar who also choreographed her performance during miss world pageant in 1994.
Shiamak tweeted “Rehearsing with Aishwarya for Femina Miss India. Memories from when I choreographed her for Miss World. Don’t miss it today.”
The show was telecasted live on staurday and had generated huge TRP ratings which was known to have crossed 8.0 which is an exceptional feat and no wonder Aishwarya Rai is for sure responsible for such a huge hike.
Other performances of the evening which lit the night up were from former miss world Priyanka Chopra and the funny ‘Masti’ trio Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivadasini and Ritesh Deshmuk.
