Well, ‘Bombay Talkies’, a film which will commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema will bring together many well known faces of Bollywood under the same roof. The actors who hesitates to share screen space due to rivalry will dump their past and come together to shake their legs for a song titled ‘Apna Bombay Talkies’ from the film ‘Bombay Talkies’. Kareena Kapoor Khan who once dated Shahid Kapoor has sidelined her past and shake a leg with the hunk.
According to a report, the song will feature who’s who of Bollywood like Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Imran Khan, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Madhuri Dixit, Aamir Khan, Vidya Balan, Sridevi, Ranbir Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Rani Mukerji, Sonam Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Saif Ali Khan.
But Salman Khan’s story is different. He is a very popular star of Bollywood and he has left his mark in Bollywood with innumerable hits. When Indian cinema is celebrating 100 years of cinema, his presence was very important but the actor refused to be a part f the song in which Shahrukh is a part. At first, he gave his nod but when he came to know that Shahrukh has shot his part, he stepped back.
The song is a tribute to Indian cinema and its successful completion of 100 years. 20 singers have been roped in to lend their voice to the majestic number.
Four stories by four noted Bollywood directors of India like Karan Johar, Dibakar Banerjee, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar will make up ‘Bombay Talkies’. The film's story revolves around the lives and problems of common people of our society.
